4. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where applicable, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests (such as improving our services and securing the platform), consent (where required), and legal obligation.
5. Sharing & processors
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, email, payment processors) who process data on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards. For account sign-in we use Firebase Authentication (Google), which may process identity data such as your email address and authentication events.
Rental operators using Benwer are responsible for the customer data they collect through their booking channels, subject to their own privacy obligations.

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion where applicable law allows.

If data is transferred outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms where required by law.
